Green Screening Days

Join us for Green Screening Days 2027 - a hybrid in-person/online event helping cinemas and exhibitors of all shapes and sizes to expand their environmental events, connect with their local communities, and commit to a regular Green Screen programming strand.
Schedule and tickets will be announced in early 2027.
Taking place in-person at Phoenix Leicester on Friday 16th April 2027, with films available online for the following week, Green Screening Days expands the ICO's Screening Days calendar to include a focus on the state of our planet, those working to defend it and the solutions available to all of us. The UK Green Film Network is here to support cinemas of all sizes with their Green Screen programming, event management and audience development.
Am I eligible?
We want to welcome as many people as possible to our events, while still protecting the work of filmmakers and distributors. Green Screening Days is for anyone who works or volunteers in a space that shows films and makes a direct contribution to selecting films or attracting audiences for them, including young film programmers (aged over 18) and front of house staff.
